Here’s a tip to cut the slime on okra – choose fresh small pods. The mister says he could eat okra and tomatoes every day, with a dash of Tobasco® of course. I know that isn’t the case everywhere so here is the basic version of this dish and it is as good a recipe as I have eaten in any restaurant. Crumble bacon and stir in just before serving.
